It took me years to have the realization that intimacy isn't a performance in the bedroom.

I realized it is a sacred container that is co-created within one's body and soul.

It is a divine action that can be in union with prayer.

A sacred ask.

Through my own practice of self intimacy and prayer, I found a missing piece in my relationship with my now husband-and since this revelation-our love has grown deeper as we grow in this crazy world.

In my younger years, I believed prayer belonged only in quiet moments alone, palms together, eyes closed. 

Then something unexpected happened...

I found prayer in intimacy and intimacy became prayer.

Now, more than ever, I see the gap where relationships lose their intimacy. I see where there is disconnection and it begins with the self.

It is easy to forget that even as an adult, we are ever growing.

We have more responsibilities to our work, our family, our friends or society and it's easy for one to become conditioned and lose the path.

When one becomes lost within themselves-our partners cannot save us.

We save ourselves-and in return-it saves our relationship, if you are willing to be true to the sacred vow made to one another.
